Snow Storm Brings Accidents

The recent snow storm hit much of New York on Monday,  dropping ice, snow, and high winds on the city.  Up to seven inches of snow was recorded in some areas.  The snow may be a fun sight for many individuals enjoying the winter weather,  for others it is the cause of a head ache.  Many flights were cancelled and many car accidents occurred on Monday.

The number of accidents were up for the day in the city with the snow and ice on the ground.  The snow caused visibility to be low.  It also caused driving conditions to be more dangerous.  Safe driving can occur in the snow,  however many drivers cause accidents by driving reckless or the same as they would under optimal driving conditions.
