Lawsuit in Crane Accident States Company Knew of Flaws

/>

A lawsuit that has been filed in relation to a crane accident that occurred in May of 2008 claims that the company that owned the crane was warned about problems with the equipment.

The company that owned the crane hired a Chinese company to make repairs.  The Chinese company warned the owners that they doubted if there repairs would be sufficient to properly fix the equipment.

It is believed that a weld that the company was hired to fix is where the accident started at,  causing it to collapse.  When the crane collapsed it killed two workers.
