A 9 year-old boy has been injured in an accident that occurred on Sunday. 

The boy was a part of group of around ten people who were riding in a wagon that was being pulled by horses.  One of the horses apparently started acting uncontrollably.  When this occurred,  the wagon was overturned by the horse. 

The boy had to be air flown to the Albany Medical Center. Other passengers in the wagon reported minor injuries.

A woman was shot by an arrow in New York City on Sunday.  The woman was in the Bronx whenever the accident occurred. 

She was dropping off other passengers in her vehicle when she stepped out of her car.  She reported feeling something hit her in the stomach.  She said that initially she thought that it was a baseball,  but when she looked down she saw the nearly 3 foot arrow sticking in her.  

The woman had to be rushed to the Saint Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx for emergency surgery to remove the arrow.

Police have no idea right now where the arrow might have come from.  They are reviewing surveillance cameras and looking into people who may have a history with archery related offenses.

Two people have died and three others have been injured following an accident that occurred Sunday on Route 60 in New York.

The accident happened around 7:00 a.m. Sunday morning in Gerry. Emergency workers responded to the and took the most seriously injured individual by helicopter to the Hamot Medical Center in Pennsylvania.

A multi-vehicle accident has occurred on Friday, March the 13th in New York.  The accident occurred on the George Washington Bridge on the outbound lanes.

One of the individuals involved in the accident is injured and in critical condition according to officials.  Emergency workers were called on the scene shortly after the accident happened. Traffic was held up for a while as officials responded to the accident.

The crash is under investigation to determine what caused it to occur.

A report has been released recently that details the incident of a crane falling in New York City that led to the death of one person.

The report concluded that the accident was caused as a result of improper use of polyester slings.  These slings were used when raising the crane.  

The report found that 4 slings were used,  whenever the crane should have had 8 slings.  Further,  one of the slings being used was compromised.  With a low number of slings and the integrity of one compromised,  the accident occurred. 

The company that caused the accident had  charges brought against them,  and the owner has pled "not guilty".

A New York City EMT has pleaded to a hit and run that killed another individual.  The man helped the New York City fire department during his career as an EMT worker.

On Thursday,  the EMT worker was in the Westchester County Court.  Appearing in court he pleaded guilty to the hit and run death of a  51 year-old man who was walking to work.  The body of the man was found on the side of the road in a ditch. The accident occurred on March 1st, 2008.

The man faces up to 7 years in jail if sentenced to a harsh punishment for leaving the scene of a fatal accident.

New York City Taxi drivers are organizing a 'Tips for Twins' day.  The event is asking taxi drivers to donate their tips from a single day to the cause of helping to provide for two twins.  The philanthropy event hopes to raise money for two 13 year old twins who lost their parents, one of the parents was a taxi driver.  The parents of the twins were killed in a hit and run accident.

The two parents,  who were both Egyptian immigrants,  were killed on February 14th. The two were killed by a driver who was speeding in a luxury car and ran a red light.  The accident occurred on Staten Boulevard.  The father is a cab driver who worked through out New York.  The event organizers hope that this event can occur yearly to help raise money and pay for college for the twins.  The twins are being raised by their aunt and uncle.
