Man Serioiusly Injured in Upstate NY Crash

A man from Canastota was seriously injured in a two-vehiclecrash on Oxbow Road in Madison County.

According to police, the accident occurred around 7:30 p.m.when a Dodge Neon was traveling southbound on Oxbow road when the driver lostcontrol of the vehicle at a curve and swerved into the northbound lanes andT-boned a minivan.

New Hampshire police identified the driver of the Dodge Neonas 41-year-old Anthony V. Jayson. The driver of the minivan was identified as54-year-old Marianne Miller. Miller was driving with her 16 year-old daughterJessica. Both women sustained minor injuries in the crash, but refused medicaltreatment at the scene.

The Madison County Sheriff’s Department reported thatAnthony is listed in critical condition for severe trauma to his head andspine. The investigation into the accident continues.
